Limiting Beliefs And You

Hope we are all well! I want to cover today a topic that is very untouched but very important!

We always strive to develop our personal and professional lives As we approach the end of 2021 we set ourselves new goals to achieve. We hope to start 2022 with so much motivation to make sure we hit those objectives we set the previous year. However, we all know that is not always the case!

How many resolutions have you set yourself but never achieved? Obviously inevitable factors can prevent certain goals, but your behaviour towards your beliefs play a significant part in what you achieve/don’t achieve.

“The only thing that’s keeping you from getting what you want is the story you keep telling yourself.” - Tony Robbins

We need to learn how to be open minded when it comes to our beliefs and what we tell ourselves. What we tell ourselves can prevent our deserved success. I am referring to you me LIMITING BELIEFS.

What reason do you give for stopping yourself from being where you want to be or even whom?

Limiting beliefs are opinions and thoughts, opinions that we make ourselves believe to be the truth. They negatively impact our lives as they prevent us from taking that step forward towards our goals. Sometimes, these limiting beliefs become our mechanism of defence to stay away from negativity such as anger and anxiety.

It can take a while to overcome your limiting beliefs.

When you have encouraged your self-awareness for your limiting beliefs, you can take the scenario and start the improvement process. This can assist you to solve problems rather than limiting yourself.

In conclusion, you want to develop the habit of identifying a limiting belief and changing it to help you progress.

At the end of the day, change can only start with you. Shift your own beliefs and it will help towards your success
